Privacy Policy

The short version

pricingapis.com is operated by Cuon Aktiebolag (org. nr 559459-3526), Stockholm, Sweden. We collect very little data. No accounts, no tracking pixels, no selling your info to advertisers. You visit the site, you see pricing data. That's the deal.

What we collect

When you browse the site

Our hosting provider (Vercel) collects basic server logs: your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard for any website. We use it to understand traffic patterns and fix issues. We don't tie this data to your identity.

When you sign up for price alerts

If you enter your email for price change alerts, we store your email address. That's it. We use it to send you price change notifications — nothing else. You can unsubscribe anytime.

When you request API access

If you email us to request API access, we'll have your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to communicate with you about API access.

What we don't do

• We use PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics — page views and basic usage patterns. No ad tracking, no data selling.
• No advertising cookies
• No selling or sharing your data with third parties
• No user accounts or passwords to worry about

Cookies

We don't set any first-party cookies. Vercel may set essential cookies for infrastructure purposes (like load balancing). No tracking cookies, no cookie banner needed.

Third-party services

The only third party with access to your browsing data is Vercel, our hosting provider. Their privacy policy is at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

We also use PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics. PostHog tracks page views and basic usage patterns — no advertising, no data selling. Their privacy policy is at posthog.com/privacy.

Data retention

Server logs are retained by Vercel per their standard policy. Email addresses collected for price alerts are kept until you unsubscribe. API access communications are kept for the duration of your access.

Your rights

Want your data deleted? Email us. We'll remove your email from our alerts list and any API access records. For server logs held by Vercel, you'd need to contact them directly.

If you're in the EU, you have rights under GDPR — access, rectification, deletion, portability. Same email, same response time. We'll handle it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. No dark patterns — if something big changes, we'll make it obvious.
